Motec (Multi-Occupational -aining and Education Centre) aneral manager Hugh Thompm told CM that a fresh look has aen taken at the courses run at igh Ercall to meet the changing amends of the industry.

The main change is the .eation of two two-day courses ir managers in transport and istribution. They are being held Dnsecutively, so that students Pi attend both, one dealing ith up-to-date transport law, ie other with managing operarms.

They are scheduled for the 'eeks beginning August 1, Sepimber 5, October 26, and Dembar 5.

A CPC revision course is being lunched this year, for the weekids immediately before CPC xaminations. These are inmded primarily for self-study :udents, and are scheduled for ctober 1/2, and November 3/27.

According to Mr Thompson, ley have the backing of Motec's )0 per cent pass rate for its stu dents sitting the last two CPC examinations.

A three-day road transport and distribution marketing course, geared along practical lines, is being launched.
