Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I WAS SURPRISED to read in your edition of May 28 that Hugh Wilson, Director of BAR, had had difficulty in establishing the amounts of money received from and paid to the RTITB by furniture removal companies. Mr Wilson is quoted as saying that "he had tried to find out exact figures from the Board but had been told it was a confidential matter."

In fact, these figures are published each year in the Board's Annual Report and Statement of Accounts, which is freely available from the Board and to be found in any reference library. Thus, the figures for the last financial year 1981/82, show that employers in the Furniture Removals Industry paid £416,000 in levy and received £397,000 in grant.
