PERKINS Engines has produced Powerpart brand of diesel parts.
The company analysed its complete range of gasket sets and found it could achieve a 30 per cent reduction in part numbers without, it is claimed, increasing costs or restricting the application coverage.
The gaskets are being sold in new Powerpart packaging which illustrates the contents of the box.
Perkins has also produced a new gasket catalogue which includes a part number index; engine build index; application index and kit contents index.
The kit contents index is available in five languages — Eng a new range of gaskets for its lish, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
