AN EXCLUSIVE arrangement for the recovery of abandoned trucks and equipment has been made by Barking Investigations in the Middle East.

BIS director Mr Fred Topham has reported that border guards are making closer check of vehicle documents for trucks en route to the Middle East and he reports that drivers are still setting out with too few preparations for the long journey east.

Latest vehicles found between Bazagan and Tehran include Volvo KGW 435K broken down; D.A. 2018, YPV 240L abandoned 12 months ago; Volvo DWC 919 and trailer 208947 abandoned three months ago. Volvo road train WUV 393M is reported in poor condition.
