Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A range of portable fork-lift hand trucks with capacities up to 600Ib has been introduced by Transhandling Ltd. Designed for use as hand trucks and for lifting loads to tailboard height, their light weight enables them to be lifted into the van for unloading at the destination. They are known as Handi-Van loaders and are additional to the company's standard range of hand trucks. A model having telescopic forks and back rests is available for large loads.

All models are manually operated, the lifting action being provided by a single crank. Gearing is totally enclosed and a patented dead-man's handle control holds the load in any position; and if released for any reason there is no risk of the load being accidentally dropped. General-purpose trucks have a capacity of 3001b while the heavy duty units will lift and carry a load gf 6001b and are designed for use in workshops. The loaders are of welded-steel channel-section construction and are finished in red stove enamel.

Made by: Transhandling Ltd, 10a North Street, Guildford, Surrey.

Price: From £55.
