Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A range of parallel-flow oil and gas space heaters has been announced by TeleHeaters Ltd that can be used for free-standing and ducted applications. It is supplementary to the company's range of counter-flow heaters and is known as the PTH range. The PTH 120 has a capacity of 120,000 Btu/hr and the PTH240 a capacity of 24,000 Btu/hr. Heaters with capacities up to 1,000,000 Btu/ hr are available, other units comprise the PTH 400, the PTH 600. the PTH 800 and the PTH 1000.

The combustions chamber is of stainless steel and the well-proven tube-and-chain combustion system provides air temperatures up to 200deg F, with a corresponding stack temperature of 400/450deg F. Builtin cooling cylinders direct the gas into the vicinity of the flue gas tubes and cool the surfaces. Fresh air and/or recirculated filtered air can be provided in the required proportion to give a predetermined number of air changes. A time switch/thermostat system affords selective day/night operation. An efficiency of 80/82 per cent is guaranteed for both oil and gas heaters.
