Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A silicone-adhesive sealant --Silcoset 153--has been added to the range marketed by ICI Nobel Division. Silcoset 153 is a translucent, non-slump, one-pack silicone adhesive sealant supplied ready for use straight from the pack. It cures, on exposure to air, to a resilient silicone rubber.

Claims made for the product are that it cures with little shrinkage as it contains no solvent, has good electricalinsulation properties, gives excellent bonding to unprimed surfaces, resists aging and weathering as well as oxidation, and stands up to many oils, chemicals and solvents.

Silcoset 153 is said to be especially useful for bonding dissimilar materials, such as stainless steel and glass.

ICI supplies Silcoset 153 in the following containers: 75 cc tube; -1-litre cartridges; 5-litre drum and 20-litre drum.

Marketed by: ICI, Thames House North, Millbank, London SW1.
