Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A long-life wiper blade element which is said to make replacement of windscreen wiper blades once a year a thing of the past, is now being used in the Manufacture of all Magnates curved-screen wiper blades. The material these new elements are made from is called Isoprene. It is a petroleum derivative and Magnatex says that it took two years to develop and perfect in conjuriction with a leading petrol firm.

Quite apart from its long-life

properties, Isoprene-as opposed to the Neoprene material previously employed by Magnates and rubber used in other blades—is said to be capable of providing a much better -winter-wipe". Impervious to ozone, petrol and oil, it is this feature which helps provide its longevity. The improved wipe

characteristic, particularly in cold weather is mainly due to the resilience of the material which doesn't harden even under freezing conditions.

The Magnates Easy Eight windscreen wiper blades are all fitted with this new blade material.

Made by: Magnates Ltd, Bath Road, Heathrow, Hounslow, Middlesex.
