Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TTRAILER units that can be coa1 verted into show stands in a matter of minutes are being used by Associated British Oil. Engines, Ltd., in connection, with the company's publicity in the sale of Petter stationary units for agricultural and light industrial applications. Three mobile display units have been built, and they will cover no fewer than 55 shows by the end of July.

The tractive unit, in each case, is a Bedford 3-tonner, the body of which is built as a caravan to accommodate the driver and stand attendant. The sleeping bunks fold against the body when not in use. Further equipment includes a wash basin, Calor-gas cooking stove, fitted cupboards and electric lighting.

A Brockhouse 3l-ton trailer, with torsion-bar suspension, forms the basis of the show stand, which provides the generous floor area of 220 sq. ft. When converted, the trailer is first

rigidly held level by four jacks, and then the lower halves of the near-side and end panels of the body are dropped to the level of the trailer floor, where they are supported in the horizontal position by jacks. Portable sections of flooring fit into the open corner spaces.

The upper halves of the near-side and end panels are next raised, and supported on tubular steel pillars to form extensions to the roof of the trailer body. Po Os bin sections are kgain used to fill in the corner spaces. The off-side panel of the body remains fixed to form the back of the stand.

Finishing touches are given by a I-ft.-deep skirting around the roof, and the fitting into position of three sets of steps. Current for ! g In ting is obtained from a petrol-driven fully automatic generating set, which is one of the eNhibits.

The finish is in crimson cellulose and for travelling, the writing is carried out so as to identify the tractor and trailer as a van. The coachwork was carried out by Silverdale Motor Bodies. Ltd., Birmingham.
