LEICESTER HAULIER and logistics operator Widdowson Group has dipped into the red with a pre-tax loss of £319,716 and an operating loss of £35,984 for the 12 months to 31 March 2006.

These results are in contrast to the previous year: in the 12 months to 31 March 2005 the firm doubled its pre-tax profits to £633,314 with a970.000 operating profit.
