Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

single-decker p.s.v bodywork being introduced by Strachans Coachbuilders Ltd., was given last week when a 28-seater coach for operation in North Africa was examined by a sepreseritative of The Commercial Motor, at the company's works at Wales Farm

Road. London, W.3. This particular vehicle has a number of special features to suit the operating requirements of the territory in which it is to run, but the basic design is common to other models intended for both home and export markets. Metal-framed, the structure incorporates frontand rear-end assemblies of a pattern now standardized for Strachans bodywork of this size group.

The export vehicle seen was based on an Austin FO K80 diesel-engined chassis, but generally similar bodywork is avail able for other comparable models. In particular, the Bedford VAS is the basis for a bus version seating approximately 29 passengers, of which the body price is in the region of £1,500, depending on details of the specification. A more elaborate coach version costs about £2,000.
