IVERPOOL CORPORATION PAS SENGER TRANSPORT COMMITTEE has notified the National Joint Industrial Council of a dispute regarding the operation of the Atlantean buses in Liverpool and requests that the Emergency Committee visit Liverpool as a matter of urgency. The Transport Committee says it is mindful of the unions' request for added payment for operating these buses but feels that it would be more appropriate for the unions to pursue this matter through the employees' side of the National Joint Industrial Council.
