• Fleet Hire Ltd of Birmingham has launched a national heavy-vehicle leasing and contract hire scheme which is backed by Seddon Atkinson.
Fleet Hire, which is associated with Ryland Garages Ltd, makes available vehicle hiring contracts with the maintenance supplied by any Seddon Atkinson distributor in the country with whom arrangements have been made, besides the facilities offered by Fleet Hire itself and the manufacturer's facilities at Preston and London.
Although both Seddon and Atkinson vehicles are being offered the emphasis of the scheme is on the Gardner engined 32-ton Atkinson tractive unit.
