Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Irish Freightliners

• With the launching of new Freightliner services from Britain to Eire and Northern Ireland, Freightliners Ltd has added neW 30ft top-lift open containers to the existing range, these having strut sides and hinged mesh dropsides between removable stanchions. The company also states that containers 8ft 6in high can be carried on the Irish services. Those from London and Birmingham have now been running for nearly two weeks and the Manchester service starts next Monday, February 14.

The services, from Holyhead to Belfast and Dublin, were planned for July 1970 but the Menai Straits bridge fire made this impossible.

Two trains will run daily on the London-Ireland service while daily services between Birmingham and Ireland will be augmented: Departures from London will be at 01.30 and 16.12; from Birmingham at 14.50 and from Manchester at 17.25. Freightliners will arrive from Ireland at 11.34 and 16.43 in London; 11.15 in Birmingham and 09.26 in Manchester. On Mondays the Birmingham arrival will be 07.55 and on Sundays the Manchester arrival will be at 19.54 and the London arrival at 18.54. Trains will run five days a week.
