Tony Collins-Miskin founded Burstwick in 1974. Once established he began operating Mercedes SKs. was impressed with their rugged reliability and has run an all-Merc fleet since 1985. Conceding that they aren't the cheapest chassis, he's put two million miles on some without problems. "Caravan haulage," says CollinsMiskin, was once viewed by other hauliers as the poor end of the market," His fleet belies this description and has recently ensured the Actros cabs are all high-roof versions and even the little Ategos have sleeper cabs.
