Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE WEST Northamptonshire Development Corporation was expected to approve £350,000 to fund a plan to tackle truck crime in a business park in Northampton.

WNDC members were due to take a vote on the plan on Tilesday (9 December), and paperwork that relates to the meeting shows a recommendation to approve the scheme.

The Brackmills Industrial Estate has become a blackspot for truck crime, and the proposal to improve security at the site includes CCTV and an Automatic Number Plate Recognition system.

The overall cost of the scheme is believed to be in the region of £2m, and Northamptonshire County Council is seeking Growth Area Funding as well as looking to set up a private/public partnership in order to complete the work.
