B.M.C. French Expansion: In pursuance of the British Motor Corporation's plans for expansion in France, a new company will come into operation in the north west which will operate the Austin, Morris and M.G. franchises for cars and light commercial vehicles from headquarters in Rouen. The new organization is named A.N.O.V.A.
(Agence Nord-Ouest de Vultures Anglaiscs) and will function from January 1.
Telehoist Extensions: Work is to start immediately on a 33,000-sq. ft. building extension for Telehoist Ltd., Manor Road, Cheltenham. A 20,000-sq. ft. factory and office extension is already under construction for the industrial hydraulics division. New Address: Rolba Ltd., specialists in snow-clearing equipment and so on, have moved from London to new offices and works at Charlwoods Road, East Grinstead, East Sussex (tel.: E. Grinstead 22278-9).
