Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

fiEMBERS of the international group, al of the Road Haulage Association should not hire out to non-members of the Association flat platform and TIR trailers for Continental work; this was decided last month at a meeting of the international group committee.

The committee also agreed recommended rates for the hire of semi-trailers, the minimum for a flat trailer being £10 a week and £1 10s. a day thereafter, comparable minimum charges for TIR units being £15 a week and £2 a day thereafter.

The amounts set out in the Long Distance Rates Guide were recommended as the basis of charging for hauling loaded trailers to and from ports.

T.R.T.A. YEARBOOK THE 1965 edition of the Traders Road Transport Association's Yearbook— ready in January—will be available for the first time to transport students. It completely supersedes the 1964 edition, is larger than the two previous issues and a numberof new sections have been incorporated.

The new sections include: the use of taw relating to specialized vehicles; a detailed maintenance schedule; a newstyle, easy-reference guide to Continental operation: insurance for the fleet manager, and an extended buyers' guide.

Single Axle: Through a misprint, the running gear on the covered Cammore car transporter described last week was said to be a " semi-axle ; this should, of course,

have read " singlc-axle ".
