Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Bedford trans European " caravan " had been the most successful sales-promotion enterprise ever staged by the company, said Mr. G. G. Tipper, export manager of Vauxhall Motors, Ltd., on Monday.

"We expected great things of this demonstration, but the results are even more impressive than we forecast," he stated.

Fourteen Bedford models ended their trans-Continental journey at Turku, Finland, six months after starting in Portugal. They had visited 11 countries and covered 9,344 miles.

In Sweden orders were 75 per cent. higher than at the same time last year. This was attributed directly to the effect of the visit. More important, hoikrever, were the indications of a higher level of sales in the years ahead, added Mr. Tipper.

PINK ZONE "GOING WELL" ONDON'S pink zone traffic plan was still going well on Tuesday, when the Minister of Transport issued a report of the first week's working. ." The operation has been a success so far. Traffic is heavy but it is moving much faster and more smoothly compared with a year ago," he said.

Results were so good in the first two days that drivers were again tempted to park in the side streets, he stated. Since then it had meant continuous hard work for the police to keep traffic moving, but they considered that they were well in control of the situation.

The Minister was expected yesterday to present a scheme for civilian traffic patrols.
