Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ACAST aluminium fog lamp, known as the PS type, has been designed by C.A.V. Bosch, Ltd., Acton, London, W.3, especially for commercial-vehicle work. Much attention

has been given to making it weatherproof, and the rim is water-tight, whilst the cable entry has a special stuffing box.

The new lamp operates on similar principles to the CFT.37 model. A stepped reflector and a shield located in front of the bulb to prevent upward glare provide a white, flat-topped beam of great intensity. In the PS type, the bulb shield is attached to the rim fitting, this, in turn, being held by two screws.

The standard lamp is finished in black and has plain clear glass, and complete with 60-watt bulb retails at 43 6s. The fluted glass is available at an extra cost of 6s., and gives a wider spread of light.
