LUCAS SERVICE UK has appointed bodybuilder B. Walker and Son as service agent for its range of light vehicle-mounted cranes.

The two models, called Swinglift and Foldaway, are electrically operated from the vehicle battery and are available in 363, 545 and 725kg(800, 1,200 and 1,600 lb) lifting capacities.

Both models will be sold through Walker's Watford and Stockport factories, and are designed to fit pick-ups and light vans such as the Ford Transit, Freight Rover, Sherpa and Bedford CF.
