FOLLOWING the promotion of Mike Tarrant, Geoffrey Eales has been appointed sales director of National Carriers Contract Services.

In his new job Mr Eales will be responsible for developing the sales force and broadening the market for contract distribution and physical distribution management of the National Freight Consortium subsidiary. He joins NCCS after 25 years with the Dunlop (UK) Tyre Group, where he was sales director (replacement sales).

His precessor was appointed NCCS managing director in January.
