• Bus journeys between Tottenham and the City of London will be quicker following the opening last week of a bus lane in Shoreditch High Street. This is the GLC's eighth bus lane to come into operation and the second of a series proposed for the A10.
Four bus lanes are to be tried out in Lewisham. The South Area Board of the GLC's environmental planning committee has approved two experimental lanes in Lewisham High Street, one in Lewisham Way, and one just off Lewisham Way in Parkfield Road.
