/ John Bryant, formerly with Volvo GM in the US, is to replace Cyril Acton as managing director of ERF, He joins the Sandbach-based manufacturer on Monday (15 April), but does not officially take over until late summer when Acton retires.
Bryant was ERF's vice-president, manufacturing with the Volvo GM Heavy Truck Corporation in Virginia. Before that he was with Ailsa Trucks and Bedford.
1=1Roy Wild is the new technical and operations director at Seddon Atkinson, he joined the company in 1951 as a draughtsman.
