A three-year contract has been concluded between Shell Marketing Ltd and Southern British Road Services Ltd for the distribution of Shell packed lubricants in the Greater London area. The operation, being handled by SBRS distribution depot at Silvertown, will include transporting packed lubricants from stock for delivery to garages, industrial premises and marine customers on the River Thames. Brian Hirst, previously operating manager of Southdown Motor Services Ltd, has been appointed traffic manager of the Northern Group of Companies of the NBC.
Roger Phillips, for 13 years general manager of the Potters Bar branch of Arlington Motor Co Ltd, takes over as psv sales director from J. E. Barren, who had held the position since 1958 but has now resigned owing to ill health.

Robert Smith, 47, becomes sales executive of the new " specialities " division of Edbro Ltd ; Ian Dickinson, 37, technical executive; and Derek Brown, 40, commercial executive. All are from within the Edbro organisation.
Geoffrey Lort, 42, has been appointed materials manager, King Truck Equipment Ltd. Mr Lort was previously with York Trailer Co.
