TWO-THOUSAND five hundred Almex "A" ticket machines are being installed on 2,500 Greater Manchester Transport vehicles. Said a spokesman : "Ticket machines are being re-introduced for better accounting control, to ensure correct fares are paid, for more accurate statistical information and in preparation for future marketing plans which may include discount tickets and season tickets."
