CIT grants GRANTS totalling £2,350 for research into road and rail transport are being awarded by the Chartered Institute of Transport this year. Applicants for grants must apply to the CIT at 80 Portland Place, London WIN 4DP, by May 31.

Of particular interest to road transport operators is the £1,000 grant for the CMUA road transport research fellowships by which British subjects aged over 30 and engaged in road transport in Britain can study road transport overseas.
