A NEW industrial trailer caravan built
by Alperson Products, Ltd., Newmarket, Suffolk, will be used by the roadsection personnel of Bermondsey as a mobile messroom. The trailer contains four separate compartments in an overall body length of 22 ft. and width of 7 ft. 3 in. •
The messroom is equipped with "U "shaped bench seats for 12 people, together with a table, and is heated by a panel gas fire. It measures 10 ft. by
7 ft. 3 in.
The next compartment. measuring 3 ft. 6 in. by 4 ft. 9 in., serves as a drying room for clothes, and is also gas-heated, as is an office. A further compartment with washing facilities serves as a kitchen, and is equipped with a sink and washbasin.A 40-gal. underfloor storage tank feeds the sink and washbasin through a water heater.
Equipment lockers are fitted underneath the seats in the messroom and are reached through external flaps.
