A NEW three-way-loading pantech

nicon on an Austin 11-ton chassis has been supplied by B. Walker and Son, Ltd., 1 Gammons Lane, Watford, Herts, to Injection Moulders, Ltd., Westmorland Road, London, N.W.9. The chassis was extended by 25 in. and the body incorporates a 2-ft.-8-in.-wide door in each side immediately behind the bulkhead and a similar door at the rear.

Framing of the body is in rolled-steel channel with hardwood fillers. The roof and side panels are of sheet steel, the interior being battened horizontally. Interior dimensions of the body are: length, 12 ft, 7 in.; width, 6 ft. 1 in; and height, 7 ft. 10 in. The Luton extension measures 4 ft. by 6 ft. 1 in. by 3 ft. 6 in. Taxation weight of the complete vehicle is 2 tons. The total capacity is 700 Cu. ft. No interior shelving is fitted in the body, as the load consists of cartons of finished plastics.
