MR. N. H. &LIFE has been elected chairman of the Sheffield branch of the Industrial Transport Association. The new vice-chairman is MR. C. Cououuao and the secretary MR. T. W. S. SHEAL.
Ma. J. E. Ricer, district goods superintendent on the Railway Executive, Manchester, has succeeded MR. H. P. AGGLETON as a member of the North-western Transport Users' Consultative Committee.
MR. L. BREWER, vice-chairman of the Potteries Area of the Traders' Road Transport Association, has been appointed the Association's representative on the executive committee of North Staffs Chamber of Commerce.
MR. P. W. J. Stmcox, ACA., has become commercial manager of A.C.V. Sales, Ltd. He remains secretary and although relinquishing the office of accountant, a position now held by MR. L. C. PARSONS, A.C.A., A.C.I.S., he retains responsibility for that post. CAPT. G. A. P. UPSTON has been re-elected chairman of the Western Area of the Road Haulage Association.
MR. T. N. WORRALL has resigned from the executive committee of the National Association of Furniture
Warehousemen and Removers. He is going to live in Auckland, New Zealand.
MR. A. P. GOOD has succeeded MAJ.GEN. W. S. TOPE as chairman of Henry Meadows, Ltd. Maj.-Gen. Tope is to take up other duties in the BrushAssociated British Oil Engines group, which recently acquired control of Henry Meadows, Ltd.
MR. W. F. Fowice, engineer and general manager of Highland Omnibuses, Ltd., has retired from the concern, but will remain as a consultant until September. He was one of the founders of the old Inverness and District Motor Services Co.
