• Among exhibits to be demonstrated at the Works and Highways Exhibition to be held at Weymouth on September 15 and 16 is a British Leyland Redline Mastiff, 16 tons gvw with a 145in. wheelbase. It is fitted with AOA 600 12-ton lifting capacity Multilift equipment with over 50 deg tipping angle. The vehicle is to be shown with a dual

purpose steel construction dropside body. It can be used on tipping work, for the carriage of plant and machinery and has ground level loading.

At this exhibition the demonstration will show the wide potentialities of the vehicld which include the handling of open or closed refuse containers, demounting gritter units, the carriage of site officers (as illustrated), the handling of sludge and fuel tank recovery and the carriage of wheeled or tracked machinery as well as straightforward tipping work.

Multilift is also displaying a 20ft aluminium-clad site office mounted directly on one of its sub-frames, and a Charrold 4+ cu yd road gritter unit mounted on a Multilift sub frame.
