Confusion over names

ALLTRANSPORT Interna tional Group Ltd, of Church Street, Staines, Middlesex, was granted a temporary order in the High Court last Friday, stopping Alltrans Express Ltd, of Upper Brook Street, London, from using a name which could be confused with Alltransport.

Mr Justice Whitford, who said that the telegraphic and Telex address of Alltransport was " Alltrans," and that there was likelihood of confusion between the two companies in the commercial field, granted Alltransport an injunction to stop Alltrans from carrying on the business of shipping or forwarding agents by using a name so nearly resembling Alltransport's name and their telegraphic and telex addresses.
