UNTIL recently the familiar Citroen model was the 35-cwt. chassis have lag a six-cylindered engine of 72 mm. bore and 100 mm. stroke. Now a similar engine with a bore of. 75 mm. is employed as the power unit of the most important models, such as the 2-tonner. On a similar chassis is displayed a 20-seater coach with saloon body by Grose, Ltd., Northampton. For comfortable riding hydraulic recoil dampers are fitted at both front and rear, and 6.50-in. by 20-in, low-pressure tyres are employed, with dual rear equipment. A trailing-axle rigid six-wheeler with specification generally similar to that of the 2-tonner also is seen in chassis form. In this case the 'wheelbase to the centre of the rear bogie is 15 ft 5 ins., and the machine is designed for loads from three to four tons.

Also incorporating the six-cylindered engine of 75 mm. bore, is the tractor, having a wheelbase of 9 ft. 4i ins, and a rear axle with special reduction gear.

The familiar 35-cwt. chassis with a six-cylindered engine of 72 mm. bore and single rear tyres, is exhibited carrying a three-way-tipping lorry body. A new model is the 25-cwt. delivery van with four-cylindered engine of the larger bore, three-bearing crankshaft and four-speed gearbox. A bare chassis of this model also is shown.

A brougham suitable for travelling salesmen, and having an all-steel saloon body is noticeable on this stand.

The Citroen-Kegresse track-laying machine is shown with a shooting-brake body. This model has a four-cylindered 72 mm. engine, three-speed gearbox and an auxiliary two-speed gear incorporated in the back axle.

A similar chassis having a flat platform body with two seats at the front, collapsable hood and a drawbar for drawing agricultural implements, completes the comprehensive display.— Citron Cars, Ltd., Brook Green, London, W.6.
