Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Morris . 115

MORRIS vans are made in two sizes which are familiar to many operators, and incorporate mainly the same types of chassis as have proved so successful in the Morris private cars. The smaller van has a -four-cylindered side-valve engine of 847 c.c. capacity which means that economy in fuel consumption is assured, a figure of about 45 miles per gallon being reasonably expected. The engine is mounted in a strong downswept frame having semielliptic springs at front and rear, whilst spring recoil dampers are standardized so as to give steadiness at the comparatively high speeds of which the vehicle is capable. Complete with a body and a comprehensive equipment the price exworks is £110.

A traveller's saloon is available on the stand, the price being £195. This incorporates the familiar Morris-Cowley chassis with 11.9 h.p. engine, although a 14-32 h.p. unit can be fitted.

The larger van, generally known as the Morris Light Van and intended for 8-10-cwt. loads, also has this 14-32 h.p. engine, a side-valve four-cylindered unit, and the price complete with body, finished in shop grey and with full equipment, is .£160.—Morris Motors, Ltd., Cowley, Oxon.
