Evans said he also accepted the suggestion to reduce the inspection intervals to four weeks for the two vehicles, one antic and one rigid. The inspections of the rigid vehicle had already been reduced to four weeks. He added that drivers were disciplined if they failed to carry out their daily checks.
Taking no action, the DTC warned that he expected that maintenance undertakings would not be breached and that there should be no more prohibition notices indicating a failure in maintenance systems.
