Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

My company, R and G pson Limited, has held a tribution contract with xas Homecare since that many started its central tribution function in 1978. Jrn 1978-83 we operated m our own premises at indon, near Ware in Hert fordshire; in 1983 Texas Homecare moved to their own 5,575 m2 (60,000 ft2) premises at Eaton Socon and we continued to operate the distribution contract from there. Due to their considerable increase in size, they have now moved to a 18,600 m2 (200,000 ft) building at Wellingborough and have operated there from December 1985.

The distribution contract from these premises has been divided into two with ourselves covering London, the South Coast and East Anglia and C Butt of Northampton covering the remainder of the country including Scotland. Both companies are contracted to run seven 32-tonne articulated vehicles daily and are working closely together, having appointed a joint transport manager to ensure that Texas Homecare receive the best service possible.

Your article (CM, March 8, Freight News), gives the impression that we have lost the distribution contract completely in favour of C Butt, which has caused us some embarrassment, especially when suppliers ring to ask what the exact position is. I have discussed the position with Clive Hodgkinson, the operations manager of C Butt Ltd, who agrees with me. 1 feel in the circumstances that your magazine should present the correct facts in your next edition.
