CLEVELAND TRANSIT the former Teesside undertaking — is to have a second bus powered by liquified petroleum gas. The undertaking has had an Atlantean powered by an lpg version of a Rolls-Royce BSIG petrol engine in use for some time.
The second lpg bus, which it is hoped to have in operation before the end of the year, will he fitted with an Allison AT540 fully automatic gearbox.
