Irish Refinery: A £10m. oil refinery is to be built in the Whitegate area of County Cork, and the project is expected to be completed by the end of 1959. Capacity of the refinery will be about 2m. tons a year.

Sales Extension: The sales department of Roca Ltd., Swillington, Leeds, has been extended because of growing demands for molybdenum di-sulphide industrial lubricants, and a northern sales area has been created, with Mr. S. Lum8 as manager.

MacBrayne Centralize: David MacBrayne, Ltd., have opened a new coach station and haulage depot at 46 Parliamentary Road, Glasgow, C.4. They have closed their bus station at 236 Broomielaw, Glasgow. and their goods depot at Washington Street. Glasgow. S.P.D. Depot: S.P,D., Ltd., are to build a distribution depot at Salford.
