MR. R. B. HoFF,•stores superintendent of the Western Region of British Railways, has been appointed chief stores officer at the headquarters of the British Transport Commission, to succeed Mn. A. FORBES SMITH when he retires at the end of this month. In 1942, Mr. Hoff was promoted assistant to the chief stores superintendent of the London Passenger Transport Board.
