Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Buffers should protect trailers and docks from damage. Unfortunately that is not always the case, which is why Holt Stop has created the Percussion Buffer. Holt Stop claims it completely eliminates building, trailer, buffer and cladding damage. Air chambers within the device absorb the force of the trailer and distribute it evenly, preventing excessive compression, which can damage trailers and buildings alike. The system, which comprises a 750mm rubber pad and a steel cradle that is welded to the dock wall, has been approved by operators including DHL, Iceland, Gist, and Carlsberg.
