Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

On 3 March three men wearing balaclavas attacked the driver on A ltham Business Park near Accrington. The thieves drove his truck south along the M65 and onto the M6 before transferring to a dark hatchback car.

The stolen artic was found burnt out on the Wardley Industrial Estate in Swinton, Greater Manchester.

The tractor unit was a white Volvo, registration number IKZ 7174, in Blair International livery.

DS Paul Broxson of Lancashire police, says: "This was a terrifying ordeal for the driver that has left him traumatised but, thankfully, not seriously injured.

We are sure that someone must have seen something suspicious on the hard shoulder of the motorway or on the roads around those two stretches of motorway."

Alan Blair, who runs County Antrim-based Blair International, says: "The driver has been very shaken by his ordeal and will be off work for a while."
