• Rod Heather has quit Foden within weeks of being passed over by an American from the truck manufacturer's parent company, Paccar.
He was demoted from managing director to assistant managing director after the appointment of David Douglass, 37, on 1 January. Heather had been managing director for more than five years, and was previously assistant managing director.
Paccar brought in Douglass to improve company performance although Foden improved its UK market share last year by 12% with sales up 42%.
