LOCAL RESIDENTS in the Aire Valley, West Yorkshire, are being given a second chance to give their views on the Aire Valley Trunk road east of Bingley.

The Department of Transport has had meetings with West Yorkshire and Bradford councils about which route to take and any solution will have some adverse effects.

The various options will therefore be put to the residents at an exhibition in the Spring.

Transport Minister Lynda Chalker said: "With careful planning I am confident that we can bring an overall improvement in the environment and road conditions in the area."
