• If you want to construct, alter or extend buildings,you need planning permission.
• Making a material change of use in buildings or land converting a farm into an operating centre. for example also needs Oanning permission.
If you do either of these things without obtaining planning permission, the consequences can be Serious and expensive. The local authority can take enforcement action to stop the use, or demolish what you have constructed, be it a building or a car park.
