TREASURE TRANSPORT Says 2009 was a "reasonaole year tor the Grantham, Uncs company and that it has also enjoyed a good start to 2010.
Abbreviated accounts for the firm filed at Companies House show that shareholders' funds rose by £106,000 to £1.83m for the year ended 31 December 2009. Current liabilities rose almost £180,000 during the period, with bank loans and overdrafts increasing by £104.400.
Treasure Transport joined pallet network Palletline in 2007, and director Peter Greenhaigh is now also a director there. Out of a fleet of 40 vehicles, six run in the network.
Director Gary Greenhalgh describes its Pailetline membership as a "happy relationship" and that it remains interested in expanding the coverage it provides. He adds 'We thought our results were pretty satisfactory, considering the economic climate in that period. Obviously in our industry, like most businesses, we are [only] as good as our customers are. If they are buoyant, then you are right on top at it."
