Johnston builds its sweepers on chassis supplied by all truck manufacturers, but it has one complaint about all of them.
"They can be a bit inconsistent about what a standard machine is," says company chairman Dan Wright. "And sometimes they make changes without notifying us. They don't perceive it as a problem, but it is for us, and we have to build round it."
