The branch operates short and long-term rental for business customers. PUBLICATIONS Agency drivers

The University of Huddersfield's Transport and Logistics Research Unit has published a new report: Managing Agency Drivers: Moving Towards Best Practice. The report analyses the structure of the industry and proposes ajoint development strategy for suppliers and users of agency drivers. It includes input from logistics operators, agencies, unions, industry associations and pressure groups. Recommendations include: developing a partnership approach based on forward planning; better management by agencies and vehicle operators; improved communication; emphasis on quality as well as cast; and improved driver recruitment, assessment, training and monitoring.
