Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I wonder why the Prime Minister chose to open the new section of the M5 last Friday. Seems a bit of a lowly task for such an exalted person.

I suppose it could have been that he was passing that way on his Whitsun holiday and killed two birds with one stone.

That would mean, of course, that he had slipped off early from Westminster because the Commons was not due to rise until Friday.

On the other side of the country in Kent, they had to be content with the lady of one of the county officials when they opened their extension to the M20 between Swanley and West Kingsdown on Wednesday. The question is, do we really need official openings and tape cuttings on new motorway sections?

No doubt drivers making for Plymouth or Dover are perfectly happy just to learn that the extensions are now open and a few more precious minutes of driving time can be saved.
