COLCHESTER Transport': annual fuel bill has risen 13± £4,000 since a new traffic scheme was introduced in thc town.
This was revealed at a traffic commissioners hearing whet the Borough Transport De partment applied for a fan increase.
An unfinished one-wa± complex in the Middleborougl area of the town means tha buses now have to travel half mile instead of 100 yards a: they did before the schemc was started.
