Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

REE side-loading box vans have recently been built for British Belting and Asbestos Ltd. by The Duramin Engineering Co. Ltd., Ruislip, Middlesex, and mounted on Scammell 12 ton Fourtrak semi-trailer chassis. The bodywork provides clear side openings of 26 ft. by 7 ft. 3 in. high, and the absence of central or roof support pillars allows unobstructed entry for pallet loading.

The body is framed in Duralumin, panelled externally in 18 gauge alloy sheet and lined internally with 16 gauge Duralum in sheeting. Two pairs of hinged doors are Provided on either side and the centre doors are so arranged that they hinge back over the end doors which, in turn, hinge back on special double action hinges.

The doors are edge-sealed to prevent the ingress of water, while a strong bumper rail is fitted along either side of the body below the doors to prevent damage during loading by fork lift truck. A further advantage is that the front and rear pairs ofdoors can be opened independently.

Scammell MH-type coupling gear is fitted to the semi-trailer, which has mechanicallyoperated brakes and 9.00-20 tyres. Spring-loaded swing-down stabilizing arms are fitted to give additional stability during loading when the trailer is uncoupled from the tractive unit.
